After planning for months and sometimes year for that visit to Disneyland, it is difficult to believe than once you actually enter the theme park that anything could ruin your day. However, even the most die hard Disney fan can find that wearing the wrong clothes to this theme park can make their visit more miserable than magical. For those of you are planning to visit Disneyland for the first time, here are a few dressing tips that will help make your day more comfortable and enjoyable.

Dress For The Weather
Yes, it's true even in the magical kingdom, there can chilly and even rainy days. There can also be days that sweltering hot. So it is important to make sure that you dress appropriately for whatever the weather is going to be on the day you visit Disneyland. If you are going to be spending the entire day from early money until later at night, you might want to bring a light jacket, even if the day promises to be warm. A hat will also protect your head from the sun's rays, and lightweight slacks or shorts are often the best choice combined with tee shirts on even tank tops providing you put on plenty of sun block.

Dress For Comfort
You also need to remember that you will be doing a fair amount of walking, standing in a few long lines, or even getting sprayed with water or walking through puddles after a rain shower so make sure that the clothes you choose are comfortable, especially those shoes because sore and blistered feet can cut your visit to Disneyland short. Sundresses are fine for the ladies, but leave the high heels for another time, and choose footwear that is both cool and won't make feet cry out for mercy.

You also want to make sure that you aren't too loaded down to enjoy the day sampling all that Disneyland has to offer. Limit your carry alongs to a camera with a memory stick or two, and a good sun block. Of course you can always carry a small fanny pack with a few other items in it. (Like your money), but you are going to want to enjoy the day without worrying about what you may be leaving behind. Dressing right for Disneyland is simply a matter of using a bit of common sense and listening to weather report.
